000 TTAA00 KSDF 010318 RRA TORSDF KYC227-010345- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LOUISVILLE KY 1119 PM EDT (1019 PM CDT) WED APR 30 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM EDT (1045 PM CDT) FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY ...WARREN COUNTY AT 1015 PM CDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF BOWLING GREEN. THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 40 MPH. SOME CITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM ARE BOWLING GREEN AND POLKVILLE. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
