AT 410 PM BATTLE MOUNTAIN DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A VERY STRONG
THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAIN OVER THE ANTELOPE VALLEY...40
MILES SOUTHWEST OF BATTLE MOUNTAIN OR 50 MILES NORTHWEST OF AUSTIN.
RAINFALL ESTIMATES OVER ONE INCH OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER THIS AREA
DURING THE PAST ONE-HOUR. THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE ONLY SLOWLY MOVING TO
THE NORTH AT 10 MPH AND ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN IS LIKELY TO CONTINUE FOR
THE NEXT HOUR OR SO WITH ADDED FLOODING TO OCCUR.
