000 TTAA00 KJAX 301906 RRA SVRJAX FLC089-302000- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSONVILLE FL 201 PM EST SUN MAR 30 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSONVILLE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 PM EST FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTH FLORIDA ...NASSAU COUNTY AND THE ADJOINING COASTAL WATERS. AT 201 PM EST WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING INTO WESTERN NASSAU COUNTY. THIS STORM IS EAST OF HILARD AND WILL MOVE INTO HILLIARD AROUND 210 PM. THIS STORM WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE TO THE EAST AND WILL MOVE THROUGH THE CALLAHAN AREA BY 225 PM. THIS STORM CONTAINS VERY STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH ALONG WITH VERY LARGE HAIL. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
