FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  700 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI

AT 502 PM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN OVER
NORTHERN LAMAR COUNTY. DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT AROUND TWO AND HALF
INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN IN THIS AREA BETWEEN 4 AND 5 PM. ADDITIONAL
THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING TO THE NORTH OF LAMAR COUNTY WILL LIKELY DRIFT
SOUTH ACROSS LAMAR COUNTY THROUGH 630 PM. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN FROM
THESE STORMS WILL LIKELY CAUSE FLOODING OF ROADS AND SMALL STREAMS.
 
MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT ATTEMPT
TO CROSS BRIDGES OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROAD.  NEVER
TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...ON FOOT.
