941 WUUS1 KIND 282252 RRA SVRIND INC097-282345- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN 549 PM EST FRI MAR 28 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN INDIANAPOLIS HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 645 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN CENTRAL INDIANA ...MARION COUNTY A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR ALL OF MARION COUNTY UNTIL 645 PM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF INDIANAPOLIS. THE STORM WILL MOVE NEAR THE DOWNTOWN PORTION OF INDIANAPOLIS BY 630 PM. MOVEMENT OF THIS STORM WAS TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 30 TO 35 MPH. LARGE HAIL AND DEADLY LIGHTNING IS PROBABLE WITH THIS STORM. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
