FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHWEST INDIANA
 
   ...NORTHERN KNOX COUNTY
 
AT 900 PM EST...RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM WITH TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS
MOVING INTO NORTHERN KNOX COUNTY. RADAR ESTIMATED RAINFALL TO BE FALLING
AT ABOUT 1.50 INCHES AN HOUR. THIS STORM IS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH
AND WILL MOVE THROUGH FREELANDVILLE AND EDWARDSPORT...OR ABOUT 15 MILES
NORTH OF VINCENNES THROUGH 1000 PM.
 
THIS STORM IS MOVING OVER THE SAME AREA THAT RECIEVED 3 TO 5 INCHES OF
RAIN OVERNIGHT TUESDAY NIGHT...SO THE GROUND IS ALREADY SATURATED AND
MANY RIVERS AND STREAMS ARE AT OR ABOVE BANKFULL.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
