THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON OH HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING FOR SMALL STREAMS EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTH CENTRAL OHIO

   ...SCIOTO COUNTY

NEARLY STATIONARY THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEPOSITED UP TO 3 INCHES OF
RAINFALL IN JUST ONE HOUR OVER A SMALL AREA OF WEST-CENTRAL SCIOTO
COUNTY. THE RAINFALL WAS CONCENTRATED TO THE SOUTH OF RARDEN
OHIO...IN THE ROCKY FORK AREA OF BRUSH CREEK TOWNSHIP.

THIS AMOUNT OF RAINFALL HAS FALLEN IN JUST ONE HOUR. THESE TWO TO
THREE INCHES OF RAINFALL WILL LIKELY CAUSE FLOODING ON THE
ROCKY FORK AND SCIOTO BRUSH CREEKS.

IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO HIGHER
GROUND ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO
FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...ON FOOT.
