000 TTAA00 KGRR 210909 FFWGRR MIC005-139-212100- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI 508 AM EDT SAT JUN 21 1997 * FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR OTTAWA COUNTY - SOUTHWESTERN LOWER MICHIGAN ALLEGAN COUNTY - SOUTHWESTERN LOWER MICHIGAN * UNTIL 500 PM EDT SATURDAY AFTERNOON * SOME AREAS AFFECTED ALLENDALE HOLLAND SAUGATUCK PLAINWELL * CAUSE AND EFFECT IN EXCESS OF 10 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER PARTS OF THE WARNED AREA SINCE FRIDAY MORNING. ANOTHER ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE TODAY AS THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE THROUGH MID AFTERNOON. RAIN SWOLLEN CREEKS AND STREAMS ARE LIKELY TO OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS TODAY WITH THE ADDITIONAL RAINFALL. MANY RURAL ROADS MAY BE WASHED OUT.
