000 TTAA00 KATL 031941 RRA SVRATL GAC133-211-032030- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PEACHTREE CITY GA 342 PM EDT WED SEP 3 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHEAST GEORGIA ...GREENE COUNTY...MORGAN COUNTY AT 338 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR APALACHEE MOVING INTO MORGAN AND GREENE COUNTIES. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL PASS NEAR MADISON AND GRESHAMVILLE BETWEEN 345 AND 4 PM. THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM HAS PRODUCED DAMAGING WINDS NEAR FARMINGTON. DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED. BOATERS, GOLFERS, AND OTHERS INVOLVED IN OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES SHOULD SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIAT^ELY.
