IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...FANNIN COUNTY...GILMER COUNTY AT 713 PM EDT WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES EAST NORTHEAST OF CHATSWORTH MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH. THIS PATH WILL TAKE THE STORM OVER BLUE RIDGE AND CHERRY LOG BY 735 PM EDT. THIS STORM HAS BEEN ACCOMPANIED BY STRONG WINDS AND NICKEL SIZED HAIL. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
