HEARD COUNTIES UNTIL 400 AM EDT...

AT 125 AM EDT A BAND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH
THE REMAINS OF THE TROPICAL SYSTEM DANNY EXTENDED FROM ANNISTON
ALABAMA SOUTH TO CARROLLTON GEORGIA TO SOUTH RANDOLPH COUNTY IN
ALBAMA. THE BAND WAS MOVING EAST AROUND 5 MPH. THIS MOTION WILL
TAKE THE BAND TO NEAR A BUCHANAN TO CARROLLTON TO FRANKLIN BY
230 AM AND TO THE EASTERN EDGE OF THE COUNTIES BY 330 AM.

RAINFALL RATES OF UP TO TWO INCHES AN HOUR WERE ASSOCIATED WITH THE
STORMS. STORM RAINFALL TOTALS OF UP TO 4 TO 6 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE
WITH THE STORMS. THESE STORMS MAY ALSO BE ACCOMPANIED BY FREQUENT
LIGHTNING.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING. IF FLASH FLOODING IS
