ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN CONTINUED TO FALL ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
THROUGH THE PRE-SUNRISE HOURS AND TOWARD THE MID MORNING. RAINFALL HAS
BROUGHT MOST AREA CREEKS AND STREAMS TO FLASH FLOODING WITH A VERY
DANGEROUS SITUATION TAKING PLACE. ALL PERSONS IN THE WARNED COUNTIES ARE
URGED TO USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IMMINENT.
MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS BRIDGES...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY
TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...ON FOOT TO ESCAPE
RISING WATER DURING THREATENING RAINS.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT.  IT IS
IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS.  CAMPERS AND OTHER
PEOPLE IN RECREATION AREAS ALONG CREEKS...STREAMS...AND RIVERS IN
