    OAKLAND COUNTY - SOUTHEASTERN LOWER MICHIGAN
    MACOMB COUNTY - SOUTHEASTERN LOWER MICHIGAN
    WAYNE COUNTY - SOUTHEASTERN LOWER MICHIGAN

*   URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING UNTIL 900 AM EDT
 
*   SOME AREAS AFFECTED

*   CAUSE AND EFFECT
    HEAVY RAIN OVER THE METRO DETROIT AREA THIS MORNING HAS RESULTED
    IN DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES OF AROUND AN INCH OF RAIN IN THE CITY
    OF DETROIT SINCE 1 AM.  COUPLED WITH ANOTHER INCH OF RAIN THAT
    FELL BETWEEN 8 PM AND 1 AM...PORTIONS OF ROADS MAY BE FLOODED.

*   FORECAST CONDITIONS
    PATCHES OF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL MOVE FROM SOUTHWEST ONTARIO OVER
    THE DETROIT AREA THROUGH 9 AM WITH ANOTHER INCH OF RAIN POSSIBLE.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED
QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
