THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS CONTINUED THE
FLOOD WARNING UNTIL 1230 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
LOCATIONS...
 
IN  PENNSYLVANIA
 
   ...LANCASTER COUNTY
 
AT 7 AM...THE STREAM GAUGE AT PARADISE WAS AT 12.5 FEET AND STEADY.
MAINLY MINOR FLOODING OF POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW-LYING ROADWAYS
WAS BEING REPORTED AS OF 7 AM FROM THE LANCASTER COUNTY EMA OFFICE.
 
THERE WERE REPORTS OF SEVERAL ROADS CLOSED DUE TO THE FLOODING IN
LANCASTER COUNTY...SPECIFICALLY IN PARADISE... EARL AND LAMPETER
TOWNSHIPS.
 
ONLY LIGHT RAIN IS EXPECTED DURING THE EARLY MORNING...AND THE RAIN
SHOULD ALL END BY MID MORNING.  STREAMS AND CREEKS WILL CONTINUE TO
FALL...AND SHOULD RETURN TO THEIR BANKS BY NOONTIME.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE
 WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
