692 WUUS1 KCLE 252358 RRA SVRCLE OHC007-OHZ526-PAC039-260100- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH 756 PM EDT WED JUN 25 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN OHIO ...ASHTABULA COUNTY AND THE ADJACENT WATERS OF LAKE ERIE IN PENNSYLVANIA ...CRAWFORD COUNTY AT 755 PM DOPPLER RADAR IN CLEVELAND SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPING OVER SOUTHERN ASHTABULA COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE PRODUCED WIND DAMAGE THIS EVENING ALONG WITH ALOT OF LIGHTNING AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS. DONT USE TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED. MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
