FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  400 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN  PENNSYLVANIA
 
   ...CRAWFORD COUNTY
 
AT 1155 AM THIS MORNING SOME FLOODING WAS REPORTED ALONG THE FRENCH
CREEK TO THE SOUTH OF SAEGERTOWN. THE FLOODING WAS BEING CAUSED BY ICE
JAMS ALONG THE RIVER.
 
ICE JAM FLOODING MAY OCCUR ELSEWHERE ALONG THE FRENCH CREEK AND OTHER
SMALL STREAMS IN THE COUNTY THIS AFTERNOON. INDIVIDUALS LIVING ALONG AND
NEAR RIVERS AND CREEKS SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR WATER LEVELS THIS AFTERNOOAND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED.
 
COLDER TEMPERATURES MOVING INTO THE AREA SHOULD HELP REDUCE THE CHANCE
OF ANY ADDITIONAL ICE JAM FLOODING TONIGHT.
 
MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY. TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
