IN WESTERN NEW YORK ...ERIE COUNTY ...GENESEE COUNTY BUFFALO DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER THE CITY OF BUFFALO MOVING RAPIDLY EAST AT 50 MPH. THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60MPH AS IT CROSSES THE AREA. THERE HAVE BEEN REPORTS OF DOWNED TREES AND POWER LINES AS THIS STORM MOVED ONSHORE FRO MLAKE ERIE.
