THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO NY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 540 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN WESTERN NEW YORK

   ...ALLEGANY COUNTY
 
AT 430PM BUFFALO WEATHER RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER THE
TOWN OF BELFAST IN ALLEGANY COUNTY.  THE STORM WAS MOVING TOWARD
THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL CROSS THE TOWNS OF ANGELICA
ALMOND BELMONT AND ALFRED BETWEEN 445 AND 530PM. 

THESE STORMS WILL PRODUCE TORRENTIAL RAINFALL THAT COULD CAUSE
LOCALIZED FLOODING....DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL. 

PEOPLE IN THESE LOCATIONS SHOULD TAKE SHELTER IMMEDIATLEY.
