IN NORTHERN NEW YORK

   ...NORTHERN JEFFERSON AND NORTHERN LEWIS COUNTY...
 
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR AT 550 PM SHOWED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM APPROACHING THE ST.LAWRENCE RIVER...JUST DOWNSTREAM OF
THE THOUDAND ISLANDS AREA.

THE STORM WAS MOVING RAPIDLY TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 45 MPH...WITH SOME NEW
THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT ALONG THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE PARENT STORM.

THE STORM WILL PASS VERY NEAR..OR JUST TO THE NORTH OF ALEXANDRIA
BAY... ANTWERP IN NORTHERN JEFFERSON COUNTY...AND HARRISVILLE IN
NORTHERN LEWIS COUNTY.

PREVIOUS...SIMILAR STORMS ACROSS ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY THE PAST FEW HOURS
PRODUCED STRONG DOWNBURST WINDS AROUND 60 MILES AND HOUR.
