SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 605 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN WESTERN NEW YORK

   ...CATTARAUGUS COUNTY
 
AT 500PM BUFFALO RADAR DETECTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTHEAST
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL
PASS NEAR RANDOLPH AND COLD SPRING BY 515PM AND NEAR SALAMANCA BY
530PM. THE STORMS HAVE A HISTORY OF KNOCKING DOWN TREES AND WIRES NEAR
CHAUTAUQUA LAKE.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH
AND/OR HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER. FOR YOUR PROTECTION FROM
