FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

   ...SOUTHERN GRANT COUNTY
 
GRANT COUNTY OFFICIALS REPORTED THIS EVENING THAT THE GRANT RIVER
IN SOUTHERN GRANT COUNTY...BETWEEN POTOSI AND BURTON...HAS RISEN
OUT OF ITS BANKS. THE WATER LEVEL IS REPORTEDLY RISING WHICH IS
FLOODING AREA ROADS.
 
WITH THE MILD TEMPERATURES...MELTING SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FILL
SMALLER RIVERS AND CREEKS LEADING INTO THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER
ACROSS SOUTHERN GRANT COUNTY THROUGH THE NIGHT.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...
ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
