000 TTAA00 KAMA 102033 RRA SVRAMA TXC117-381-102130- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AMARILLO TX 334 PM CDT THU APR 10 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AMARILLO HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM CDT FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE ...SOUTHEASTERN DEAF SMITH COUNTY...RANDALL COUNTY AT 330 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST EAST OF HEREFORD. THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER... SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. MOVE INDOORS AND AWAY FROM AREAS WHERE LOOSE ITEMS COULD BECOME FLYING DEBRIS. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
