THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 820 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO

   ...COLFAX COUNTY
 
AT 745 PM MDT...SEVERAL SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH POSSIBLE TORNADOES
WERE DEVELOPING RAPIDLY OVER SOUTHERN COLFAX COUNTY MOVING RAPIDLY
NORTH-NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.

SPOTTERS HAVE REPORTED FUNNEL CLOUDS WITH THESE STORMS...AND THEY
COULD PRODUCE A TORNADO AT ANY TIME.  RESIDENTS OF SPRINGER
...MAXWELL...CIMARRON AND MIAMI SHOULD REMAIN ALERT AND BE PREPARED
TO TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. BE ALERT AND ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU
ARE IN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY
