THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON ARIZONA HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  445 PM MST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA
 
   ...EASTERN PIMA COUNTY
 
AT 340 PM...TUCSON DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
OVER THE CATALINA MOUNTAINS. THIS STORM WILL AFFECT AREAS NEAR
CATALINA HWY AND SUMMERHAVEN.  RAIN GAGES IN THE AREA HAVE REPORTED
OVER ONE INCH OF RAIN IN THE PAST HOUR.  RADAR HAS ESTIMATED
ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAINFALL OVER A WIDE AREA OF THE CATALINAS.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICrLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
