FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
 
   ...LE FLORE COUNTY
 
HEAVY RAINS HAVE FALLEN ACROSS LE FLORE COUNTY THROUGH THE DAY
WHICH HAS LED TO A RAPID RISE IN MANY OF THE AREA CREEKS AND
RIVERS.  THE HEAVENER EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY HAS REPORTED
FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS ALONG THE BLACK FORK RIVER NEAR
HODGENS.
 
WITH THE GROUND SATURATED...ADDITIONAL RAINS THROUGH THE EVENING
WILL CONTINUE TO RUN OFF AND POSE THE THREAT OF FLASH FLOODING.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS LIKELY OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED.  STAY ALERT AND WATCH FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATER.
REMEMBER...IT'S IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO THE
NEAREST STREAM...CREEK OR RIVER WHICH CAN BECOME A KILLER DURING
