000 TTAA00 KSHV 042130 RRA SVRSHV TXC459-063-042230- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SHREVEPORT LA 430 PM CDT THU JUL 4 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SHREVEPORT HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM CDT FOR THE FOLLOWING AREA... IN NORTHEAST TEXAS ...UPSHUR COUNTY AT 424 PM DOPPLER RADAR IN SHREVEPORT INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 12 MILES NORTH OF GILMER MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 10 MPH. THIS STORM WILL AFFECT BETTIE AS THE STORMS MOVE SOUTHEAST AROUND 440 PM. AREAS OVER EXTREME SOUTHERN CAMP COUNTY SOUTH OF PITTSBURG WILL BE AFFECTED UNTIL AROUND 500 PM CDT. EXPECT WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH WITH PAS^SAGE OF THE STORM. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM...TAKE IMMEDIATE STEPS TO PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR PROPERTY...SUCH AS YOUR CAR...BOAT...AND PETS...FROM LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND.
