IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI ...DOUGLAS COUNTY AT 745 PM...RADAR CONTINUED TO SHOW A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM ROME TO AVA MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS OF 60 MPH. WINDS TO 55 MPH WERE REPORTED BY DOUGLAS COUNTY SHERIFF OFFICE IN AVA AT 744 PM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
