WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  800 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
LOCATION......
 
IN SOUTHEAST OHIO
 
   ...LAWRENCE COUNTY
 
RUNOFF FROM OVERNIGHT AND MORNING RAINFALL HAS CAUSED SEVERAL SMALL
STREAMS TO OVERFLOW. THE WATER HAS RISEN HIGH ENOUGH TO CAUSE ROAD
CLOSINGS IN SEVERAL LOCATIONS. THIS RUNOFF WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE MINOR
OVERFLOW ON SOME SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE
AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EVENING.
 
 
OHIO ROUTE 93 WAS BLOCKED IN THE CANNONS CREEK AREA NEAR PEDRO.
OHIO ROUTE 141 WAS BLOCKED IN SEVERAL LOCATIONS BETWEEN WATERLOO
AND WILGUS DUE TO OVERFLOW OF SYMMES CREEK. HOGS RUN ROAD AND
LAWRENCE STREET ARE BLOCKED DUE TO HIGH WATER ALONG STORMS CREEK.
 
THE RAIN HAS NOW CHANGED TO WET SNOW ACROSS THE COUNTY AND THIS
SNOW IS EXPECTED TO END LATER THIS AFTERNOON. NO ADDITIONAL
SIGNIFICANT PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. WATCH OUT FOR MUD SLIDES.
