FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN EXTREME WESTERN NEVADA
 
   ...SOUTHERN WASHOE COUNTY
 
RENO DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY
HEAVY RAIN JUST SOUTHWEST OF PYRAMID LAKE IN THE WARM SPRINGS VALLEY
AREA. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING ONLY SLOWLY TO THE NORTHEAST.
FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY IN CANYONS AND GULLIES ON THE WEST SIDE OF
PYRAMID LAKE AS WELL AS IN WARM SPRINGS VALLEY AND ON THE NORTHERN
PORTION OF THE PYRAMID LAKE HIGHWAY.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
