000 TTAA00 KPHL 112035 SVRPHL NJC041-112115- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ 435 PM EDT SAT MAY 11 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NEW JERSEY ...WARREN COUNTY AT 430 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN THE POCONO MOUNTAINS. THIS THUNDERSTORM HAS BEEN ACCOMAPNIED BY DAMAGING WINDS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AROUND 35 MPH...AND IT WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTHWESTERN NEW JERSEY. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. PREPARE FOR STRONG DAMAGING WINDS... LARGE HAIL...HEAVY RAINS AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. SHOULD THE STORM APPROACH MOVE INSIDE QUICKLY. DO NOT STAND NEAR WINDOWS.
