000 TTAA00 KPHL 142209 FFWPHL NJC019-021-035-150010- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ 611 PM EDT FRI JUN 14 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 810 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NEW JERSEY ...SOUTHERN HUNTERDON COUNTY ...SOUTHERN SOMERSET COUNTY ...MERCER COUNTY AT 605 PM...RADAR SHOWED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL FROM HUNTERDON COUNTY SOUTHEAST TO MERCER COUNTY. THEY WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. THUNDERSTORMS HAVE BEEN FORMING IN HUNTERDON COUNTY AND MOVING SOUTHEAST ACROSS SOUTHERN SOMERSET AND MERCER COUNTIES SINCE 430 PM. THIS TRAINING EFFECT WILL CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS. RADAR HAS BEEN ESTIMATING UP TO ONE AND ONE-HALF INCHES OF RAIN PER HOUR WITH THESE STORMS.
