AFTERNOON/S STORMS HAS PUSHED THE CHRISTINA RIVER ABOVE ITS FLOOD
STAGE OF 9 FEET.  AS OF 6 PM THE READING IS 9.5 FEET AND SHOULD
CREST BETWEEN 10 AND 10.5 FT AROUND 7 PM.  THE RIVER SHOULD BE
BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY 9 PM.
 
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED AREAS.  THE DEPTH OF THE
WATER MAY BE HIGHER THAN YOU THINK.  RAPIDLY RISING WATERS CAN
QUICKLY ENGULF YOUR VEHICLE AND ITS OCCUPANTS...WASHING THEM AWAY.
