ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1230 AM EST SATURDAY
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN  PENNSYLVANIA

   ...CHESTER COUNTY
 

BETWEEN ONE AND TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER CHESTER COUNTY
DURING THE PAST SIX HOURS AND DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES MORE RAIN IN ON
THE WAY.  IN ADDITION...THE WATER LEVEL AT THE AUTOMATIC GAGE ON THE
EAST BRANCH OF THE BRANDYWINE CREEK AT DOWNINGTOWN CONTINUES TO RISE.
AT 600 PM THE STAGE AT DOWNINGTOWN WAS 6.1 FEET.  FLOOD STAGE AT
DOWNINGTOWN IS 7 FEET.  THE STAGE AT DOWNINGTOWN IS EXPECTED TO RISE
ABOVE FLOOD STAGE WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR OR SO.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA PRONE TO FLOODING...MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND
IMMEDIATELY BEFORE YOUR ACCESS IS CUT OFF BY RISING FLOOD WATERS.  IF
YOUR VEHICLE STALLS...ABANDON IT AND SEEK HIGHER GROUND QUICKLY.
RAPIDLY RISING WATER MAY ENGULF THE CAR AND SWEEP IT AWAY.
