FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHEAST WASHINGTON
 
   ...SOUTHEASTERN FERRY COUNTY...NORTHERN LINCOLN COUNTY
   ...SOUTHERN STEVENS COUNTY
 
AT 530 PM PDT THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINFALL CONTINUES OVER EXTREME
SOUTHEAST FERRY COUNTY...NORTHERN LINCOLN COUNTY AND SOUTHERN STEVENS
COUNTY IN NORTHEAST WASHINGTON. THIS HEAVY RAINFALL WILL LIKELY PRODUCE
LOCAL AREAS OF FLASH FLOODING. IN PARTICULAR ONE AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS
MOVING OVER THE HAWK CREEK REGION OF NORTHERN LINCOLN COUNTY HAS BEEN
PROGRESSING VERY SLOWLY AND MAY CAUSE SIGNIFICANT FLOODING IN THAT AREA.
 
CAMPERS AND OTHER RECREATIONALISTS SHOULD PREPARE FOR HEAVY RAINFALLS
AND POSSIBLE FLOODING BY MOVING OUT OF LOW AREAS TO HIGHER GROUND.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY hTO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
