FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  630 PM EDT
FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST NEW YORK
 
   ...NASSAU COUNTY...ROCKLAND COUNTY
 
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS
PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAIN OVER THE AREA. THESE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE
PRODUCED RAIN IN EXCESS OF 2 1/2 INCHES IN THE PAST HOUR ACCORDING TO
RADAR ESTIMATES. THE HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE LEADING TO THE FLOODING OF
ROADS AND LOW LYING ARES.
