IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE ...SOUTHEASTERN COFFEE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST TENNESSEE ...GRUNDY COUNTY AT 414 PM CST...RADAR INDICATED A TORNADO NEAR ELK RIVER DAM...ABOUT 5 MILES NORTHEAST OF WINCHESTER. THE TORNADO WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT AROUND 45 MPH...AND WILL REACH HILLSBORO BY 430 PM AND TO NEAR ALTAMONT BY 445 PM. YOU SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
