000 TTAA00 KMOB 190012 TORMOB ALC131-190100- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOBILE AL 613 PM CST MON MAR 18 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH ALABAMA ...WILCOX COUNTY MOBILE DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR SHOWED TWO DIFFERENT TORNADOES MOVING INTO WILCOX COUNTY. THE FIRST TORNADO WILL BE MOVING INTO THE SOUTHWEST PART OF THE COUNTY ALONG A SIMILAR TRACK OF THE PREVIOUS TORNADO. IT WILL MOVE IN NEAR PINE HILL AND WILL MOVE TO NEAR MILLERS FERRY BY 645 PM. THE SECOND TORNADO WILL MOVE INTO THE COUNTY JUST EAST OF HYBART NEAR HWY 41 AND WILL PASS NEAR CAMDEN BY 630 PM. DO NOT USE YOUR CAR TO TRY TO OUTRUN A TORNADO. CARS ARE EASILY TOSSED AROUND BY TORNADO WINDS. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...LEAVE THE CAR AND GO TO A STRONG BUILDING. IF NO STRUCTURE IS NEARBY...SEEK SHELTER IN A DITCH OR LOW SPOT.
