THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MILWAUKEE/SULLIVAN HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  600 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH WISCONSIN
 
   ...GREEN COUNTY
 
AT 125 AM CDT THE GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED WIDESPREAD STREET
FLOODING IN GREEN COUNTY. WATER WAS UP TO THE GUARD RAILS OF SOME
ROADWAYS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 2.5 INCHES HAS OCCURRED IN THE
COUNTY SINCE 930 PM. DOPPLER RADAR SHOWS STRONG THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING
TORRENTIAL RAINS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 6 AM. ADDITIONAL RAIN OF 2 TO
3 INCHES IS LIKELY.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO
RECOGNIZE THE DANGER OF FLOODING.   VISIBILITY WILL BE REDUCED TO NEAR
ZERO IN THE TORRENTIAL RAIN.
