000 TTAA00 KIND 192256 TORIND INC133-192345- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN 555 PM EST FRI APR 19 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN INDIANAPOLIS HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 645 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN WEST CENTRAL INDIANA ...PUTNAM COUNTY AT 553 PM EST...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED POSSIBLE TORNADO 10 MILES NORTH OF TERRE HAUTE...NEAR ROSEDALE. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH TOWARD THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE. PEOPLE IN GREENCASTLE SHOULD TAKE QUICK PROTECTIVE ACTION IMMEDIATELY. GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL HAS BEEN REPORTED AS FAR NORTH AS ROCKVILLE. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
