THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LINCOLN IL HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 810 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS

   ...PEORIA COUNTY
 
AT 735 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO JUST
NORTHWEST OF PEORIA. A TRAINED SPOTTER REPORTED A WALL CLOUD ALONG
ROUTE 6 AND HIGHWAY 150 JUST SOUTHWEST OF ALTA.  THE THUNDERSTORM
WITH THE POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL AFFECT
THE COMMUNITIES OF PEORIA HEIGHTS...ALTA AND SPRING BAY.

TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY IN A BASEMENT OR INTERIOR ROOM ON THE
LOWEST FLOOR. ABANDON MOBILE HOMES AND VEHICLES FOR SAFER SHELTER.
