000 TTAA00 KGLD 070638 FFWGLD KSC039-153-071235- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GOODLAND KS 1238 AM MDT (138 AM CDT) WED AUG 7 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GOODLAND KS HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 735 AM CDT (635 AM MDT) FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWEST KANSAS ...RAWLINS COUNTY AND DECATUR COUNTY AT 130 AM CDT GOODLAND WEATHER RADAR ESTIMATED THAT UP TO 6.2 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN IN THREE HOURS IN A 15 MILE BY 2 MILE WIDE AREA STRETCHING FROM 15 MILES WEST OF ATWOOD TO ATWOOD. ANOTHER AREA OF RAIN ESTIMATED AT 5 INCHES OR MORE IN THREE HOURS EXTENDED FROM 10 MILES WEST OF OBERLIN TO OBERLIN. BEAVER CR`EEK AND TRIBUTARIES NORTH OF IT IN RAWLINS COUNTY ARE INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING. SAPPA CREEK IN DECATUR COUNTY IN ALSO INCLUDED.
