FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  530 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

AT 330 PM...A BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN CONTINUED TO FALL
ACROSS SOUTHWEST KNOX COUNTY BETWEEN CENTERBURG AND BRANDON...NEAR
SYCAMORE CREEK. THESE STORMS CONTINUED TO SIT OVER THE SAME AREA FOR THE
PAST HOUR AND A HALF. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES UP TO 2.2 INCHES OF RAIN
HAD FALLEN BETWEEN 230 PM AND 330 PM. THE STORMS WILL REMAIN NEARLY
STATIONARY FOR THE NEXT HOUR...POSSIBLY DROPPING UP TO ANOTHER INCH OF
RAIN.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
