SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 935 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHERN NEW YORK

   ...CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN LEWIS COUNTY
 
DOPPLER RADAR FROM ROME NEW YORK SHOWED A POSSIBLE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
NEAR THE BORDER OF OSWEGO AND LEWIS COUNTY.

THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL AFFECT
THE SOUTHERN HALF OF LEWIS COUNTY...APPRAOCHING THE LYONS FALLS
AND PORT LEYDEN AREAS BEWTEEN 845 AND 900 PM.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH
AND/OR HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER. FOR YOUR PROTECTION FROM
POTENTIALLY DAMAGING WINDS...MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS MAY ALSO CAUSE RAPID
