THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO NY HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 720 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN CENTRAL NEW YORK

   ...SOUTHEASTERN OSWEGO COUNTY
 
AT 630 PM EDT BUFFALO DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER
SOUTHERN OSWEGO COUNTY NEAR THE TOWN OF WEST MONROE. THIS STORM WAS
MOVING TO THE EAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL BE MOVING INTO GAYVILLE BY 645
PM. THIS STORM DID BRING DOWN SOME TREES LIMBS AS IT MOVED THROUGH
WEST MONORE.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH
AND/OR HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER. FOR YOUR PROTECTION FROM
POTENTIALLY DAMAGING WINDS...MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS MAY ALSO CAUSE RAPID
