000 TTAA00 KBUF 102339 SVRBUF NYC013-NYZ520-521-110035- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BUFFALO NY 738 PM EDT MON JUN 10 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO NY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 835 PM EDT IN WESTERN NEW YORK ...CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY AND A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 835 PM EDT FOR THE NEAR SHORE WATERS OF LAKE ERIE FROM... ...RIPLEY TO SILVER CREEK AT 730 PM BUFFALO RADAR DETECTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER CHAUTUAQUA COUNTY BETWEEN RIPLEY AND SHERMAN AND 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF FREDONIA. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTH AT 20 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD PASS JUST WEST OF DUNKIRK AND OUT OVER LAKE ERIE.
