THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO NY HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING
FOR URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM EDT FOR
PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN WESTERN NEW YORK

   ...WYOMING COUNTY
 
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINS HAVE BEEN MOVING OVER THE SAME 
PORTIONS OF EASTERN WYOMING COUNTY SINCE 515 PM. BUFFALO DOPPLER 
RADAR INDICATED RAINFALL TOTALS OF UP TO TWO INCHES IN A LITTLE OVER 
AN HOUR BETWEEN CASTILE AND WARSAW...NEAR THE TOWN OF GAINESVILLE.

MORE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOVING INTO THE COUNTY FROM THE SOUTH 
DURING THE NEXT HOUR...WITH THE POTENTIAL OF AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO 
INCHES OF RAIN IN A FEW LOCATIONS. THESE ADDITIONAL RAINS COULD CAUSE 
WIDESPREAD FLOODING IN SOME LOW LYING AREAS AND RAPID RISES TO SMALL 
STREAMS...ESPECIALLY IN THE EASTERN POrRTION OF THE COUNTY.

USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN DRIVING. NEVER DRIVE ACROSS FLOODED 
ROADWAYS.
