FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AND SMALL STREAMS EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN WESTERN NEW YORK

   ...WESTERN AND CENTRAL CATTARAUGUS COUNTY
   ...CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY
 
AT 805 PM BUFFALO WEATHER RADAR DETECTED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY
RAIN OVER THE WESTERN HALF OF CATTARAUGUS COUNTY WITH OTHER STORMS OVER
NORTHERN PENNSYLVANIA WEST OF BRADFORD. THESE STORMS SHOULD ALSO MOVE
NORTH INTO THE WARNED AREA BETWEEN 815 PM AND 10 PM.

RAINFALL RATES OF MORE THAN AN INCH AN HOUR ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE
STORMS. RADAR INDICATED 1 TO 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN
EARLIER THIS EVENING IN THESE AREAS. ANOTHER INCH OF RAIN COULD CAUSE
RAPID URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING.
 
IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS
RISING.
