TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  345 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH RHODE ISLAND
 
   ...SOUTHERN WASHINGTON COUNTY
 
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.
 
 
AT 306 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INICATED A POSSIBLE
TORNADO NEAR PT. JUDITH IN NARRAGANSETT AND SOUTH KINGSTOWN. IN
ADDITION...RHODE ISLAND FISH AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT HAVE REPORTED A
POSSIBLE TORNADO IN SOUTH KINGSTOWN. THIS STORM IS MOVING NORTH AT 4O
MPH...AND WILL IMPACT THE TOWNS OF NORTH KINGSTOWN BY 320 PM AND PASSING
WEST OF QUONSET POINT BY 330 PM.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF
AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES
FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
