000 TTAA00 KTLH 041724 TORTLH FLC131-041815- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TALLAHASSEE FL 123 PM EDT (1223 PM CDT) WED OCT 4 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TALLAHASSEE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 215 PM EDT (115 PM CDT) FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA ...WALTON COUNTY AT 1222 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER WALTON COUNTY...NEAR DE FUNIAK SPRINGS. THESE STORMS HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE TORNADOES. THE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHWEST AT 40 MPH AND WILL MOVE ACROSS THE LIBERTY AND PAXTON AREAS. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS UNDER STURDY FURNITURE IN AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. USE PILLOWS TO COVER YOUR BODY. AVOID WINDOWS.
