IN WEST CENTRAL TEXAS ...RUNNELS COUNTY AT 458 PM THE DOPPLER RADAR AT ABILENE INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO IN BALLINGER IN RUNNELS COUNTY. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED NORTHWEST OF BALLINGER...NEAR BALLINGER AND NEAR ROWENA. THE SHERIFFS OFFICE IN BALLINGER REPORTED QUARTER SIZED HAIL IN BALLINGER. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED BUILDING...OR AS A LAST RESORT GET INTO A CULVERT...DITCH OR LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.
